This one time special release is in honor of our late friend and Head Brewer, Jason Buehler. He passed away this fall, leaving a legacy of exceptional beers, fantastic friends, and an incredible family. He was always the first one up to watch a new day begin and taught us all so much about how to live to the fullest.
In his memory we brewed this black IPA with rosita de cacao, a unique mexican flower that is known for notes of chocolate, maple, and orange. It is a complex blend of citrusy hops, roasted caramel notes, and sweet cocoa.
We will be donating 100% of the proceeds for this beer to Jason's wife and three children.
